I am fortunate to have a large studio high up on the hills, with a view over the ocean on most days. Sometimes the fog rolls in and "mixes" the dyes on the fabrics which I have been working on outside, leaving wonderfully soft and muted colors.
The changing light and weather is a constant source of inspiration, as is the wild life passing by my huge windows. Bobcats, coyotes and raccoons are almost daily visitors, the deer live off my tomato plants, and the bluejays are like ornaments in the oak and madrone trees.
